Jelena Dokic is a young rising star of women's
tennis,in 1998
she won the US Open Junior Championship and she was ranked
number 1 junior in the world. Jelena started 1999 of in a big way
with a win at the Hopman Cup for Australia with mixed doubles
partner Mark Philippoussis. This was Australia's first win and only
second finals appearance.
