My visit to Belgium has nothing great to write home about. On a short business trip to Brussels I had some time to explore the city. Just like its European counterparts, Brussels was vibrant and full of life. The sights were no different from a city like Munich in terms of the buildings & architecture, layout and general sights. I travelled some distance to visit the famous Atomium but was disappointed to see it look dirty and ugly...the rains were desperately required to give it a wash !

Brussels' metro is one of the most efficient I have seen and one can see where exactly the train is on the map, with the help of lights that keep moving as the train does...

Ofcourse, I was quite happy with the bags of different varrities of chocolotes I could pick up and that keeps this visit sweet if not for anything else..:-)
