[an error occurred while processing this directive] Super Saiyajin RPG - No PSX2 in the USA? There have been talks in the US Government that they think the PlayStation2 is too powerful and does not want Sony to export their latest achievement into the US borders. Sucks doesn't it?

The processors in video game consoles are much more advanced than the ones found in computers. They can render and display high graphics and have CD quality sound all on the fly. Plus the PlayStation2 is going to have online capabilities, which with some modifications can probably run on a T3 rather than the USB cable modem they plan to ship sometime later.

Now for those of you who can't put 2 and 2 together, what happens when you put a high end processor with a super fast and high bandwidth connection to the internet? You get an insanely powerful hacker tool. The PlayStation2 is theoretically more powerful than some of the computers that countries use to keep their secrets super secret. The US Government does not want this and has the power to not allow Sony to export it to the US. Much like what they did when Apple released the Power Mac G4's, (some background info mixed with techie talk) the processor in the G4 is better than most of the super computers in this world, therefore, they would not allow Apple to export the G4 to "risky" countries, such as China, Iraq, and some others. Note that the government hasn't said anything about the 1GHz processors by AMD and the high-end Intel processors, because they suck and will never be as good as Mac's.

This can prove to be a major disappointment to millions of video gamers in the US and also to Sony because the US easily generates millions of sales. However, this is only the beginning, I'm sure there will be more information disclosed later about this. If the US Government doesn't allow the PSX2, Sony will have to find a way to limit the PSX2's power before shipping (making the PSX2's in Japan better?).

A theory of mine can also come into play at a much later date when Nintendo releases what I like to call the "PlayStation2 Killer," otherwise known as the Dolphin (Sorry, I'm a hardcore Nintendo fan and always will be.). The processor to be used in the Dolphin is of the PowerPC processor architecture made by IBM. For those of you who don't know, Mac's use and have been using the PowerPC architecture for their processors for years now. And we all know that when it comes to graphics and sound, Mac's whoop ass. But wait, what are video games all about? Graphics and sound. And the Power Mac G4 processor (made by a cooperative effort by IBM, Motorola, and Apple) is by far the most powerful processor, especially when a program uses Altivech commands (codes, when read by the processor, make it hundreds of times faster, but only can be used when coding for *gasp* graphics and sound!!). As of now, Motorola is making the G4e (weird name ain't it?) which is an upgraded G4 that's at least 250% faster when doing Altivech instructions and uses less than half the energy consumption (that makes PowerBook (the Mac laptop) users very happy, ya know, batteries? They don't last too long...). A super-charged G4e processor is going to be used in the Dolphin (That is, if Motorola doesn't make an even more advanced processor again.).

Now imagine a super computer that is designed specifically to play video games. Now imagine the Dolphin having online capabilites because you know it will with the Dreamsuck, err, Dreamcast and PSX2 already ahving the ability to go online. Now imagine one of the most powerful super computers with a T3 hacking into your country's databases and nuclear weapon controls, makes you feel really safe to go to sleep at night doesn't it?

Ok, I think that's a record of the longest post in history...
