When Cortney and I decided to make this page, we decided it was going to be a lasting memorial for all have been touched by the tragic occurences at Columbine High School. Memorial sites are springing up all around the web, to honor those who have died; those who have lived; and all of those touched by the Columbine High shootings. What you see on this page is an act of total kindness; Our way of reaching out to all of those in Littleton, CO, to express our sympathies and let them know that thee are people who care. We'll always have the memories of this day in our hearts; We'll never forget how it hit close to home, because you see, Columbine High School could be any one of our schools. We'll never forget the tear-streaken faces on the news of classmates, parents and friends of victims from that day. And most of all, we'll never forget the impact these shootings have made on everyone's lives.

I Believe
LeAnn Rimes, from her CD You Light Up My Life

I believe for every drop of rain that falls
A flower grows,
I believe that somewhere in the darkest night
A candle glows.

I believe for everyone who goes astray
Someone will come to show the way.
I believe,
Oh, I believe.

I believe above the storm
The smallest prayer, will still be heard.
I believe that someone in that great somewhere
Hears every word

Every time I hear a newborn baby cry,
Or touch a leaf

Or see the sky,
Then I know why I believe.

"Out of sight, but never out of mind."

After we all wrote an aticle in the GMG Newsletter, two very kind and special ladies, Joy and Jo, presented us all with this gift.
In Remembrance
April 20th, 1999...
This date will be remembered all in time. .
The lives taken so innocently. .
Gunshots rung and took them away
leaving all greif stricken, that fatal day.

The world wonders, why?
Why did this happen?
How could it happen here. .
can be heard from the students at Columbine. .

Two teens, they say wanted revenge. .
they had plans on making it the end. .
This was no way to carry out anger
putting their classmates in great danger. .

William "David" Sanders...
Known and loved by many. .
Struggled, dying to save others
While looking at pictures of his wife and daughters

The family and friends of those taken away
shall live with the memories everyday. .
They will shine down, their sweet love from heaven
And re-unite with their loved ones one day.

I sit and I wonder, why and how?
Why did this happen. .
how can we prevent it from happening again.
Such innocence lost. .
for no reason at all. I shall forever keep in my heart. .
the memory and prayers for those at Columbine. .
And pay a special tribute for years to come. .
God Bless You all Littleton, Colorado.
May The Lord Be With You Forever.

Wind Beneath My Wings

It must have been cold there in my shadow
To never have sunlight on your face
You were content to let me shine that's your way
You always walked a step behind

So I was the one with all the glory
While you were the one with all the strengh
A beautiful face without a name for so long
A beautiful smile to hide the pain

Did you ever know that you're my hero
And everything I would like to be
I can fly higher than an eagle
When you are the wind beneath my wings

It might have appeared to go unnoticed
But I've got it all here in my heart
I want you to know I know the truth of course I know it
I would be nothing without you

Did you ever know that you're my hero
And everything I would like to be
I can fly higher than an eagle
Oh you are the wind beneath my wings

Did I ever tell you you're my hero
You're everything everything I wish I could be oh and I
I can fly higher than an eagle
For you are the wind beneath my wings
'Cause you are the wind beneath my wings

Oh the wind beneath my wings
Fly fly fly away
You let me fly so high
Oh fly fly so high against the sky
So high I almost touch the sky
Thank you thank you thank God for you
The wind beneath my wings

Memories

Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind
Memories, sweetened thru the ages just like wine

Quiet thought come floating down
And settle softly to the ground
Like golden autumn leaves around my feet
I touched them and they burst apart with sweet memories,
Sweet memories

Of holding hands and red bouquets
And twilight trimmed in purple haze
And laughing eyes and simple ways
And quiet nights and gentle days with you

Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind
Memories, sweetened thru the ages just like wine,
Memories, memories, sweet memories

Jen made this graphic.
Years ago you would have been called a fool;
If you said that violence occured in school.
The things that are happening now are so strange.
When will we have peace? When will things change?
The sound of gunshots and the sound of cries,
Teenagers are killing and taking innocent lives.
When teenagers die, it's just not fair.
The people who kill just don't seem to care.
They think that they can solve problems with violence,
And after the massacre you hear nothing but silence.
They bring guns to school and start a rampage;
Hurting people is their way of expressing their rage.
They need to realize that there is another way out;
Maybe if they talked things through, or even began to shout.
There are other ways of expressing anger;
You don't have to kill an innocent stranger.
Shooting someone because of their color-
And before you know it, they've shot another.
But we still have a chance and we still have time;
Not all of us teenagers believe in crime.
So let's do something and take a stand-
Because many people like us need a helping hand.

I didn't know today would be your last
We just smiled in the hall as we pasted
It was just like everyother day
I never knew it would end this way

Friends till the end is what we will be
I will prove it to you just wait and see
You are in my heart, my soul and with me when i pray
I will let people know what you would want to say

I will tell people about you
I will let them know of the things you do
I won't cry cause you are gone
I will blare our favorite song

I will live my life to the fullest and live part for you
cause I know that is what you want me to do
Look over me from above
and shower me with all your love

When you're in Heaven watch for me
wait at the golden gates till it's me you see
I had no clue that this is how it would end
But forever and always you will be my best friend

"Smile..though your heart is aching. Smile...even though it's breaking. When there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by. If you smile through your teaars and sorrow...Smile, and maybe, tomorrow. You'll see through; The sun will come shining through. If you light up your face with gladness, hide every trace of sadness. Although a tear may be ever so near...That's the time you must keep on trying. Smile...what's the use of crying? You'll find life more worthwhile, if you...just....smile." -"My Girl 2"
When Somebody Dies..

When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel, and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow. A bird gives the message back to the world, and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. People disappear, but they never really go away. The spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake up grass, and spin theearth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the day-time, when they're supposed to be sleeping. They paint the rainbows and also the sunsets and make waves splash and tug at the tide. They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes. And when they sing wind songs, they whisper to us, don't miss me too much. The view is nice and I'm doing just fine.

For The Children Of Columbine

It lasted so long
the screaming and the noise
The sound of the bullets
and the laughing of those boys

The blood and the horror
seemed like it would never end

Then finally it was over
we are at peace again

There is no more blood
and no more pain
We are at Home with Our Father
and at peace again

We can feel your anguish and
we can touch your tears
And wish we could calm all of your fears

Reach deep inside yourselves and know
That we are with someone we know

God held our hands that terrible day
And brought us home forever to stay

Roses

The rain landed in droplets on the beautiful rose,
That laid against the buliding as a shrine to those
Who lost their lives on that April day;
Who may not be seen, but are still with us anyway.

Many tears were wiped away as they rolled down our cheeks,
As we cried for the lost with sadness and grief.
Why did God chose it was their time to go?
They has so much left to live, so much more they needed to know.

Candles shone brightly on a cold April night,
People looked up to the stars, hoping it would all be all right.
Across the US, the news told of the tale;
Of those wounded and lost, and the memorial that was there.

God, may we keep in our hearts all life through,
That everyone lost is now up there with you.
To look down upon us as angels each day,
To help and to love us each step of our way.
