After cleaning his three volcanoes and saying goodbye to his flower, the little prince started his adventure across the universe. He had visited a total of six asteroids:
Asteroid 325, 326, 327, 328, 329, 330.
The first asteroid that he visited was Asteroid 325. There lived an "absolute" king who "had power to reign over everything". The most curious thing is that nobody had ever landed on his asteroid except the little prince! Although the "king" invited him to be his ambassador, the little prince refused and left without much interest.
The second planet was inhabited by a conceited man. He received the little prince as his admirer! He was confident that he was the most handsome, intelligent and well-dressed man in the whole universe! And he dared to ask acknowledgement from the little prince! Oh my God! I cannot understand why he could be so conceited.
The next planet was inhabited by a tippler. This was a very short visit, but it plunged the little prince into deep dejection. When the little prince arrived, he asked the tippler the reason for drinking so much. The tippler just simply answered : "to forget the shame that I drink so much!" Doesn't make sense, right? But maybe he had really drink too much...
"Three and two make five. Five and seven make twelve.
Twelve and three make fifteen. Good morning. Fifteen and seven make twenty-two...."
The businessman was always doing his calculations and accountings. What was he
counting? Stars! Unbelievable! Why did he do that? Well, it was because he
thought that he owned them, and that they were his wealth...Don't laugh! You
know, he was very serious...
The fifth planet was very strange. It was the smallest of all. There was just enough room on it for a street lamp and a lamplighter. And because of its size, a day of 24 hours on earth only lasts for 1 minute there. So the job of lighting and switching off the street lamp was, as you can imagine, really tiring and monotonous. The little prince appreciated his loyalty to his work and proposed to give him a hand. However, the asteroid was too small to house one more person. So the little prince left and continued his adventure.
The sixth planet was ten times larger than the last one. It was inhabited by an old geographer who wrote voluminous books. He received the little prince as an explorer. It was this geographer who recommended the little prince to visit the planet Earth, where he learnt the most precious lessons in life.
As a conclusion, the little
prince had encountered, on different asteroids, different people who had
different temperaments and characters. Some were arrogant, some were greedy
while some were hard-working. And the little prince wondered what type of people
live on Earth. Well, this is really hard to tell, but I can assure you, the
people who lived on Earth are much more complicated, bizarre and mysterious.
