Personal Background: 

   Born on Bajor at the end of the Cardassin rule, Yvonnava was raised with
strict Bajoran beliefs and morals. Growing up always seemed a chore, her
parents so very held to their beliefs and brought young Yvonnava with a
firm hand.
   Finally at the age of majority, Yvonnava left home, eventually finding
Starfleet as a calling. She joined and within 4 yrs graduated. Commisioned
an Ensign and off to the stars to explore.
   A few months later the still young woman ventured in to an unknown
people and without thought explained things of the univerce, drasticly
changing some of the peoples thinkings and in the end, their whole society.
She was severly reprimanded.
   Her next assignment brought her to a space station, where she was also
promoted. Her first few months were served happily until she disobeyed a
direct order to not interfer in sensitive diplomatic relations, and was
confined to the brig for three months. When finally released, she requested
a transfer which was granted.
  This transfer was no picnic, as she was sent of to a remote transmitting
array. The assignment was boring or so she thought. In less then a year on
the array she uncovered a covert mission to infiltrate Starfleet. Since
there were very few others she could talk to, let alone inform, she took it
upon herself to stop it. In doing so she recived a commendation and
promotion, that took her to a new ship. Aboard this ship she excelled, and
became its Executive officer within a few short years.
    Four years later through acts of heroism and bravery against the
Romulans saving her crew, but utltimalty losing the ship, She recived the
Silver Star, a promotion, and a few months later, a feild command of a
starship. A few months after that the Command was permanant.
   Less then a year later she was relived of duty for her actions of
endagering her crew and ship, forgoing the court marshal, she took the
offer of teaching at the Academy. Returning to classes herself, she became
a full intructoer and transfered to a Cadet Academy off planet. Almost
eight years later she was offered Command of a ship again with a promotion,
but turned them both down, to remain teaching. She returned to earth a few
months later and took leave.
   Returning but a few monthas ago, she resumes her teeching career.
   
Psychological Profile: 
   Yvonnava  is a well ronded person. In her younger days she was wild and
often went to the extreme to prove points. Now older, and having many
differeing experinces she is a much better person, though she thrives for
adventure, she knows her limits.
