Notes: The PASTEUR-class evolved from the drive section
 of an EXCELSIOR-class spaceframe, fitted with a 
 revolutionary spherical primary hull. Designed as a 
 dedicated medical vessel, it carries over two hundred 
 dedicated medical personnel, as well as facilities for
 three hundred patients. It also has specially fitted 
 cargo bays capable of complete quarantine procedures,
 and is capable of transporting delicate medicines 
 over long distances.

 The PASTEUR-class design was completed in May 2389, and
 the USS PASTEUR was launched in October 2390. The PASTEUR 
 was destroyed in 2395, while the third ship of the class 
 was under construction, and the project was put on hold. 
 The project resumed in 2399, with the construction of the 
 USS FELICITY KING. 

 Equipped with vastly overpowered warp engines, the PASTEUR
 class is one of the fastest starships ever built by StarFleet.
 This high speed allows this ship to race into crisis areas
 as an 'angel of mercy'.
