Notes:
 The LEXINGTON-class developed out of the SHENANDOAH-class destroyer.
 Like the TYPHOON-class, this class was designed to fill the gap 
 between the NEBULA-class and GALAXY-class variants which make up most
 larger vessels and the smaller INTREPID-class variants usually 
 designated as frigates. The ship closely resembles the older 
 CONSTELLATION-class, with a four-nacelle design. The LEXINGTON-class
 version of the SHENANDOAH-class spaceframe was specially designed
 for close-range combat, a weakness of the SHENANDOAH-class' 
 four-nacelle design.

 All LEXINGTON-class starships are to be named for American 
 historical battles, and will be given registry numbers in the
 93500 series.
