Notes:
 The TYPHOON-class developed out of the need for a new class of destroyer.
 This class was designed to fill the gap between the NEBULA-class and 
 GALAXY-class variants which make up most larger vessels and the smaller
 INTREPID-class variants usually designated as frigates. The HALSEY-class
 upgrade, which was completed on the seventeenth TYPHOON-class spaceframe 
 constructed, was an instant success, and all following TYPHOON-class 
 spaceframes have been built to the HALSEY-class specifications.

 All HALSEY-class starships are to be named for naval commanders, and will
 be given registry numbers in the 89500 series.
