MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: A-Maize-Ing Chowder Menu Categories: Dam, Soups Yield: 4 Servings MMMMM----------------------SOUP INGREDIENTS--------------------------- 1 c Onion or leek, chopped 1 c Carrot, sliced 1 sm Baking potato, peeled 1 c Chicken broth, defatted 2 c Evaporated skim milk 1 c Corn kernels, frozen 2 tb Parsley Salt & pepper to taste MMMMM---------------------OTHER INGREDIENTS-------------------------- Mixed green salad with 1 oz Chicken, cooked 1/2 c Vegetables, raw for salad 2 tb Low cal dressing 1 c Herbal tea 1) In medium saucepan, combine onion (or leek), carrot and potato with chicken broth. 2) Cover and simmer 10 minutes until vegetables are tender. 3) Puree, then add milk and corn. Heat without boiling, to serving temperature. 4) Season to taste with salt & pepper. 5) Serve, sprinkled with parsley.
