MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: An-Apple-A-Day Coleslaw Categories: Dam, Ftf, Low-cal Yield: 4 Servings MMMMM--------------------------DRESSING------------------------------- 1/2 c Reduced fat mayonnaise 1 c Low-fat buttermilk 2 tb Rice wine vinegar 1 tb Dijon mustard 2 ts Sugar 1/4 ts Salt MMMMM----------------------------SLAW--------------------------------- 2 Green apples; such as Granny ;Smith or Pippin, peeled, ;cored and cut up 1 tb Rice wine vinegar 1 c Carrots; shredded 1/2 c Green Onions; finely diced 2 c Green cabbage - chopped 2 c Red cabbage-chopped 1) Dressing: In large serving bowl whish all dressing ingredients together. 2) Slaw: In medium bowl toss apple pieces in rice wine vinegar. Pour off excess vinegar. Add apples to dressing mixture in serving bowl. Toss to coat. 3) Add remaining slaw ingredients to serving bowl. Do not mix. Cover and chill until serving time. Just before serving, toss to coat all ingredients with dressing.
