June 24, 2001: Hello Everyone. I'm sorry that I haven't updated in so long. I sort of forgot about this site after the unfortunate death of my best friend and rat, Skyra. She died of a cancerous tumor. I will discontinue updates on this page, but it will remain open for your benefit. Welcome all! I am PiRAT
(left) and this is my rat pal, Skyra (right). Actually, I'm not a rat in real life but on
this page I am. I do really have a rat pal named Skyra, though, and she looks just like
the graphic below. She stays with her sister, Carmel, who is also a hooded rat but he is a
light tan color rather than the bluish black that Skyra is. She belongs to my sister,
Marie. Marie and I share a room with our rats. The rats are finally grown up and a year
old!

I gave this whole page a makeover! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I've been busy with school stuff! Now summer is here and I'm a seventh grader! Whoopee! I know alot more about html and graphics now so this page will just keep getting better and better! Check back tomorrow for more news and updates! Version 1.5 of PiRAT's is underway!

Two baby rats found a good home! Carmel and Skyra Donahue made their way out of the pet store August 18th, 1999! They went from a crowded glass cage crawling with tons of rats with out enough room to crawl around to the loving room of two sisters that were absoulutly astonished that they're parents allowed them to add to their pet collection of three cats, two dogs, two parakeets, and two frogs.
PiRAT taught Skyra to sit still on her shoulder! She's so proud of her!! She can't wait to teach her more!
