The first graphic design project I ever did was a flyer for a party
that I was going to DJ at. In fact, it was my 21st birthday party. My
mate Blair and I did a nice bit of a flyer. Unfortunately I don't have
it anymore! Ah, c'est la vie.
After that first time, I was hooked. I learned Photoshop and Illustrator
and used found art and free fonts (ah, the joys of an academic T-3 connection!)
to make posters for things I was involved with, like the radio station
and putting on concerts. Then a friend offered me money (to my surprise!)
for work doing flyers and tickets to an event, and I accepted. That
was my first "real" graphic design project. Below are both
"real" and "recreational" projects that I feel represent
the best of my work.
