People across the centuries have tried to answer this question. People today still try. But it can't be answered outside of the Bible. Sure a man walked the streets of Jerusalem, and Nazareth possessing his name crafting goods like any other carpenter. Sure he healed the sick, preached the good news to the masses yearning to be. But who was he?
He was and is the Son of God. He was and still is the son of man. And he is Savior of all humanity. Below, the scripture that justify this. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sins of the many, and made intercession for the transgressors.Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
