POLICE DOGS IN SECRET TALKS WITH PC SWEEP

Sweep is photographed here with Police dogs, Yarnie and Copper. Sweep began secret talks with the local Police Dogs after concerns over rumors of major changes to the dog section. One Police Dog is reported to have said. “Woof Woof Woof, Growl Woof.” Which apparently means. “We needed a voice people will listen to and although Sweep has a funny voice for a dog, people have been listening to him squeak since 1957. He seemed an ideal choice to voice our concerns to the management.” Sweep said (in his squeaky kind of way) "I will do everything I can to help my doggie friends. Do you have any bones or sausages?"

POLICE PUPPET POLICY SCANDAL

Questions have been asked, as to what Police Policy is with regard to Police Officers bringing Puppets to work.
The question arose after PC Sweep started bringing to work a Puppet of his good friend Sooty. Sweep pictured here with his Puppet said. “Puppets could be the future of law enforcement. With the continual problems of a shortage of human bean officers, the answer could be for all officers to have a Puppet partner!”
A Police spokesperson when confronted with the idea immediately telephoned the Hospital to see if a patient had escaped, which wasn’t very nice.
So it would appear for the time being anyway, that Sweep will be on his own with his Puppet idea but who knows what the future will bring!
Sweep finished the interview by saying that he was considering writing a little newsletter telling all the boys and girls about his little Puppets adventures in the Police, but that really would be silly wouldn’t it!

PC SWEEP TO BE ON THE INTERNET

Sweep has joined the computer revolution and is proud to announce that he will soon be on the internet. Not that he had allot to do with it personally. In fact the only thing Sweep was asked to do was arrange a photograph to go with the internet headline.
The editor would like to apologize for the adjacent photograph. Apparently Sweep thought he was supposed to get a photograph “IN A NET !”
