The French Connection ~ Wawa ~ Dubreuilville circle tour ~ 180 km/110 miles ~ 4 - 6 hrs

With a strong French speaking tradition and flare, Dubreuilville is a great place to visit! Most residents are fully bilingual and their hospitality superb. Stop at Pats Resto and try the "Poutine", a Quebecois hearty meal. Take the main trail to Hawk Junction where gas and food are available. From Hawk follow the main trail north through a highly populated moose area arriving in Dubreuilville. Return to Wawa via old logging roads and scenic McCormick Lake.

The Golden Triangle ~ Wawa ~ Hawk Junction circle tour ~ 112 km/70 ~ miles 2.5 - 3 hrs

Follow the routes of Wawa's gold rush claim stakers and Mormon railway builders. Take the main trail, then quite hilly terrain joining an old logging road system arriving in Hawk Junction for gas and food. Return to Wawa via Whitefish Lake and the Mission a small community established adjacent an abandoned fur trading post.

The Badlands ~ Wawa ~ Steephill Falls Dam

The "Badlands" is easily accessed via the Wawa ~ Hawk Junction route. It's an undulating treeless area, 32 km long and 6 km wide, excellent for free style open country sledding. Keep your eyes open for what was once "Park City" and is now an abandoned gold mine.
