Joining the Mountaineer Platoon of the Young Marines means you will hard work and commitment to yourself and the
unit. Not counting it is also commitment to your community and being a mentor for kids and teens in your area.
You will have to go through a 13-week boot camp before becoming a Young Marine. During this time you will be known
as Recruit.
You will learn to have manners and disciplne is very important to have in the Young Marines.
