The purpose of the Orientation to Teaching class is to promote and enhance a positive image of the Teaching Profession.  The Teacher's Orientation class is one of a series of specialized educational courses that students will take to expose them to teaching and related educational careers. 

Students in the class receive both theoretical and applicable ("hands-on") experience, as they are introduced to introductory educational concepts and principles.  Students will be exposed to such concepts as the following:
