Background/History:
The data on the Ballerina is mostly rumor and supposition. The prevailing rumor
is that a member of the Royal Moscow Ballet Troop was injured in a fall and the
muscles of her legs were damaged beyond conventional repair. Her blood work
revealed that she had the genetic coding that Dr. Koloff had identified as
enabling an individual to access the power of the Tunguska metal. She was told
that she was being given an experimental treatment and was given a small hammer
and sickle that had been made out of the strange metal. As with Red Guardsman,
she went into a coma-like state for four weeks and awoke slightly stronger and
incredibly faster and more agile. She uses her incredible speed as a weapon
augmented by the hammer for blunt damage and the sickle for cutting damage.
Personality/Motivation:
Her whole life had been discipline and training as a dancer, that work ethic was
applied to her training and her devotion to the Red Guardians. She follows
orders and is probably the most genuinely loyal member of the team. She and
Soviet are the most public and accessible members and do the more open
super-heroic activities.
