Background/History:
Everyone knows what happened in the Garden of Eden with the Tree of the
Knowledge of Good and Evil, but few know what happened after the forbidden fruit
was eaten. The Tree became infected with a blight that caused it to shrivel and
die. From the dark and twisted branches, strange evil creatures were born. The
one known as Insane took root in the world of dreams, drawing power and
sustenance from the fear he created in people’s nightmares. Over the
centuries, he built up sufficient power to take a physical form outside the
realm of dreams. While attempting to influence the dreams of the Justice
Avenger, Canuck, Insane saw the evil group known as Injustice in his memories.
Seeing in them kindred spirits, he took physical form and sought them out. He
joined the group and continues with them today.
Personality/Motivation:
He is simply a creature of selfishness and evil, who takes a psychotic pleasure
in causing people pain and misery. Joining Injustice is like a hobby for him.
What he does in the dream world for food, he does in the waking world for
pleasure.
