Background/History:
Malcome was not born out of love, but from experimentation and depression.
Morris Manto during his evil years generally jumped from project to project to
further his goal of eradicating super-heroes. For a short period of time in the
70s, he became fascinated by the strides being made in genetics and the
possibility of genetically engineering a predator as the natural enemy of the
super-hero, almost an
antibody to battle the infection attacking the human race. Combining his genius
with an excellent physical specimen with perhaps a small tweak here and there
would ensure his legacy into the future. He sought a perfect female and had very
little luck until he saw a news report about an Olympic track star in Kenya who
had been tragically injured in a car crash. He went to see her and stole her
medical records.
She was depressed, convinced that her life was over. Her DNA was near perfect
for his plans, so he convinced her that he had a plan to improve humanity that
would give her a reason to live. So, he manipulated his sperm and artificially
inseminated Yihana. He set her up with a large amount of cash, a trust fund for
Malcome, and a series of tapes designed to teach Malcome the knowledge he needed
to carry on his father’s work. When he became old enough, one of the tapes
revealed the secret location of one of Morris’ old hideouts, a fully equipped
laboratory and a new suit that he died before he could use. So, he began to
improve on the items left by his father and set out to pull together a new team
out of the ashes of the old Injustice. As for his mother, Yihana objected to her
son’s psychotic tendencies and attempted to dissuade him from following in his
father’s footsteps. She was laid to rest next to Morris.
Personality/Motivation:
Programmed since before his birth, Malcome is only interested in finishing his
father’s plan for destroying super-heroes. His single-minded obsession coupled
with his intellect and ambition to make the name of Manto feared at any cost
could lead him to the greatness he craves.
