Terry: I reckon its best you do not know.

Eddy: If your so keen, then up wid it.

Terry: No matter how much you beckon, I will still not fess up. So let me hop on my horse and git.

(eddy starts to get angry)

Eddy: Why are ya bein’ so dang stubborn. Prove what you speak, or keep your yapper shut.

Terry: Don’t question my authority or my gift, because I know all.

Eddy: Than tell me, ya yellow-bellied mule!

Terry: You are looking for, and you are, the killer of that there sheriff of thebes.

Eddy: Come again?

Terry: I said, you are the dog-gone murderer, ya slack-jawwed yokel.

Eddy: Liar

Terry: Can I finish? I will tell you more.

Eddy: If you want too, but your just waisting everyone’s time

Eddy : Are you asking for a whoopin’?

Terry: If speaking the truth is a crime, than throuigh me in the slammer.

Eddy: How can you hurt anyone if your blind

Terry: I got the God Apollo, backin’ me up

Eddy: Wait a gosh-darn second, was it Cletis who came up with this lie That little bastid, I always thought him of schemein’ to lynch me.

Terry: Creon had nothing to do with this, It is all your doin’.

Eddy: I reckon its high time for a butt-whoopin’. You think that your all that but can’t prove nuttin’. You and Creon will shoot yourself in the foot because of your

lack of faith.

Chorus. (thinks the prophecy from Terry is being spoken due to his anger. Also, Eddy is speaking out of anger, due to his short temper. Stop fighting, you two

Freeks, we have to resolve this argument.)

Terry. Although you are the sheriff of this here town (eddy), I am not a slave to you. You have teased me for being blind when you are the one who can’t see a

gosh darn thing. I reckon high time tomorrah you will be wishin’ you was dead once you realize what I’m talkin’ ‘bout.

Eddy: I don’t believe you; get out of my saloon.

Terry. No.

Eddy. All you do is bitch and make stuff up, I don’t have time for this.

Terry. You say I’m bitching, but I know about your parents.

Eddy. What ‘bout them.

Terry. Today you will dawn on the truth about who your parents were, but you will wish you had never found out.

Eddy. Again with the riddles.

Terry. But I thought that you could crack any riddle.

Eddy. Taunt me again and I smack you senseless.

Terry. It is that anger which will kill you.

Eddy. I don’t care no more, I am sheriff of thebes.

Terry. Fine, I’ll go.

Eddy. Good.

Terry. I go now, but let me leave you with this: You can not destroy me. The Man who killed Laius is among us. He will go poor and blind where he once Had

sight and was rich, and will do his momma, and be both the father and Brother of his mother’s kids. Think about this, and If you find it false, then you May say I

am a bad prophet.
