To explore what's new and happening in the world of Mr Roy Bird's 'Top Events' and 'Chesterwell Management' publishing and to ask, when are contributors going to get paid?

Doug Quentin: We are looking to shine a spotlight on Roy Bird's activities and ensure that his future operations are conducted in a more transparent way than hitherto. If this transparency needs to be imposed from without, by us, then so be it.

Martin Naylor: Some of us (myself included) are people currently owed money by Bird. A few are swapping information anonymously. We hope soon to build an open consortium of creditors to collectively push for payment. This may involve going to people like TV's Watchdog. Whatever it takes. Especially since the ADS Print news item we've heard about.

Our aims:

Collectively pressure Bird for what's owing to contributors.
Exchange useful information about him - such as the CCJs (County Court Judgements) issued against him.
Scrutinise his work practices and seek to promote awareness of them amongst new "victims".

Measures taken in pursuit of the above will be non-violent and within the law.
