This beautiful amphora was made in Vienna, Austria, sometime around the beginning of the 20th Century. It was made by Ernst Wahliss (EW) of TURN manufactory. It stands 10" tall, and is about 5 1/2" wide.

Below is the obverse (or back side) view of the amphora.

Below is the bottom mark which is a red crown and shield emblazoned with the letters "E" and "W"

. The bottom of the crown bears the letters "TURN". Scrolled horizontally across the shield is the word "Vienna". Stamped on the bottom is the phrase: "Made in Austria". Please contact us to make an offer, or request further information. Thank you!
