Capsule: Blockade Runner "Contingency" | The 'Contingency' modifications are a special order item from Omars. They have been completely over hauled by our techs and optimized for certain customers who demand speed and fire power, to supply much needed supplies to blockaded worlds. It takes 2 standard months to retool a YP-1000 to fit this role. The cargo space has been reduced in order to make room for the new equipment. First the power plant and the engines are removed and replaced with more efficient models. An additional power generator is added to power the capital scale turbo lasers. In a pinch, if the main generator is damaged, the turbo lasers can be shut down and power redirected to the rest of the ship. The main generators can generate 300% more power than is needed by all systems but is cannot power the turbo laser. The turbo laser is on a separate power coupling than the rest of the ship and has been thoroughly tested. I can fire at a rate of 1 shot every 10 seconds. If all power is directed to the turbo laser it is capable of firing more often but, this is not recommended. Next, the hull is augmented and additional thrusts added to keep the good maneuverability. Then the sensors are upgraded, and the targeting jammer is installed. Before any ship is sold 100 flight hours are logged and all systems and configurations are tested. Ships must be picked up at Omars Dreadnaught, within 1 standard month or the contract is null and void. Payment is 65% upfront and 35% upon delivery. Satisfaction is guaranteed. | ||
Computer & Automated Systems | Slave Rigging: They ships come with a beacon call, and are able to share jump coordinates with other ‘rigged’ ships, and they are capable of flying to the holder of the beacon call, by means of a homing beacon, and are even able to fight their way to their masters With a skill of 3d. | ||
