The Armed
Drill Team do advance drill and ceremonies with a Springfield Rifle that weighs 8.69 lbs. Not only does the Drill Team
teach you how to spin the rifle, but it also teaches self-disipline and confidence. Everyday they practice at 1500 (3:00 pm)
until 1700 (5:00 pm). Determination plays a key role, and both physical and mental strengths are necessities. The team
competes in the valley and towards the end of the school year they compete against other schools around the U.S, at the
Western Army Nationals in Texas, and The Nationals in Florida.
THE 2003-2004 AND THE 2004-2005 DRILL TEAM COMMANDER IS c/LTC WAYNE CORRICELLI
Bruin Rifles tied for 4th place at the Western Region Nationals, at Texas A&M.
They also took 16th place at the Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida.
