The Armed Drill Team do advance drill and ceremonies with a Springfield Rifle that weighs 8.69 lbs. Not only does the Drill Team teach you how to spin the rifle, but it also teaches self-disipline and confidence. Everyday they practice at 1500 (3:00 pm) until 1700 (5:00 pm). Determination plays a key role, and both physical and mental strengths are necessities. The team competes in the valley and towards the end of the school year they compete against other schools around the U.S, at the Western Army Nationals in Texas, and The Nationals in Florida.
