Introduction Letter to E-Pals (3èmes)

Remember to:

• Fill in the subject line in the e-mail : From (your name) to (name of your pal)
• Sign the letter using your first name or nickname.

You should include the following information to introduce yourself:

• Give your age, nationality and describe your looks and personality. You may give your sign and talk shortly about it…
• Say where you were born (town and country) , where you live now (locate it…) and what grade you're in and where you study (say what kind of school this is).
• Say which subjects you like best and why and the ones you detest and why.
• Say who you stay with at school and what kind of topics you like talking about.
• Say whether you live in an apartment or a house. Say how far it is from school approximately and how you go to school.
• Describe your family (parents..names.what they do…sisters…brothers…pets..what they are like).
• Say what you like doing.. what sports you practise ,what you do when you get back home and what you normally do in your spare time.
• Ask your penpal questions.

Rubrics

You will be marked on:

Vocabulary (use different expressions of like and dislike given in class, adjectives to describe yourself and your personality)

Grammar (remember to use the verb to be with age, ING form after verbs of like and dislike and prepositions, auxiliaries in questions)

Content (respect the plan, personalized writing)

Organization and Usage(correct use of e-mail, netiquette, logical sequencing)
