November 9, 2006 saw a judgement in the trial of Mizanur Rahman over allegations of 'stirring up racial hatred and incitement to murder' during the "cartoon demo" at the Danish embassy, London in 2005. There is no hard evidence of Mr. Rahman brandishing any "hate placards" as alleged. Mr. Rahman was found guilty on the former count, but the jury could not agree on the latter count. Mr. Rahman remains in custody awaiting a retrial or possibly a series of retrials until the required guilty verdict is arrived at...

Mr Griffin was aquitted, and was seen in news broadcasts celebrating with his cronies over a bottle of new-brand "white beer" outside the court...
