Brighton Breezy

I'm singing of the place we love
That's Brighton by the coast
It's much much better than London
And I'd like to raise a toast.
It's good and it's bad
And it's mad and it's sad
And sometimes it's out of it's tree
And if that's your kind of flavour
Brighton's the place to be

We're not as friendly as the north
We don't like strangers here
But if you feel like buying
Mine's a pint of beer
No "What's up cock"
But our stick of rock
Will always bring good cheer
And if that's your kind of flavour
Brighton's the place to be

It's very cosmopolitan
Of that you'll have no fear
Except for all the Grockles
Who turn up every year
And there's beggars that stink
And can't hold their drink
And old ladies all smelling of wee
And if that's your kind of flavour
Brighton's the place to be

Our beaches aren't particularly clean
In fact they're anything but
And if you're going swimming
Make sure your mouth stays shut
But they're building a pipe
To ferry the shite
And dump it at Shoreham-by-sea
So if that's your kind of flavour
The coast is the place to be

Well I've been around old England
and I've visited every town
But Skegness I found scummy
And Bognor was closed down
No this is the place
To get out of your face
I'm sure you'll all agree
If that's your kind of flavour
Brighton's the place to be

Yes if that's your kind of flavour
Brighton's the place to be ...
