Background/History:
In an attempt to explore the surface world, the Quince Al Quail Elders sent Sim to act as a goodwill ambassador in the 1950s. Due to his status as a celebrity and superhero, he was not a fair example of how the two races would coexist and they sought another way. Years later, after seeing that Fin was the daughter of a human and a mermaid, they were inspired to try having one of their people raised with humans. A storm caused a seaquake that took the lives of a Quince Al Quail couple, but their newborn survived the disaster. The Elders took it as a sign that this was the child they had been waiting for. They contacted Tela, Queen of the Merpeople, and asked her to deliver the baby to Fin in the cause of peace. They invented a story that the baby was politically dangerous and would need to be slain otherwise. He could not be raised with the Merpeople due to their history of having enslaved the Quince Al Quail centuries before. Mermaid agreed and sent Nimh to her daughter and Scribble to be raised as their own child. Fin accepted and they started a family with him. Fin was very pleased with having another amphibious being around and grew very attached to the child. Scribble quickly grew to love Nimh as well and it started him wanting to have their own flesh and blood child. After a few years, they retired from active superhero duty and had their daughter, Hope. Nimh became a great big brother to her and they bonded as well as any brother and sister could. The two children were taught privately due to their powers and celebrity status, but they had as normal a life as possible, often playing with the children of their parent’s former teammates. Mystery Man had asked Frantic Blue, Scribble’s father, to take care of his daughter and once Scribble and Fin had retired, she joined their ‘family’ as well. Once he was old enough, he sought out his people and discovered that he was quite the handsome fellow and that he was not hated or banished. He was considered a hero by his people, but he was very uncomfortable there and returned to his home with the family he loved. As they each reached eighteen, Scribble and Fin taught their children how to be heroes and took them on patrol. After a couple of years, an accident caused Dr. Schmit’s long forgotten robot doubles of the Circle of Justice to go on a rampage. Nimh, Barracuda, Brickhouse, and Lightning quickly destroyed the robots and decided to form a team to continue the heroic legacy of their parents. Together with Peace Child and Gibralter, they formed the Legacy.

Personality/Motivations:
Nihm is very likable and gregarious. He takes his responsibilities very seriously, but not himself. He strives to be a hero both to honor his race and his adopted family.
