Keeper of Infinite Earths - Justice Avengers

Created by Matt Parmenter

Cosmic Avenger
Alter Ego:
Quasar Alpha
Occupation: Super Hero / Former Champion of The T.E.C.ian Empire
Known Relatives: None
Group Affiliation: The New Justice Avengers
Base of Operations: Chicago

Background/History:
Secretly a genetically engineered hybrid built from cell samples from the best of the previous Champions of T.E.C., Quasar Alpha became the best spokesman for the Empire’s propaganda program. The Champions were sent to show the power of the T.E.C. by defeating other world’s great fighters. Quasar, although arrogant and evil privately, inspired many to follow T.E.C., as well as inspiring Goldon to follow in his footsteps. His tour of duty with T.E.C. ended when he challenged Star and the Justice Avengers with Starflyer. Star hit Alpha with the best punch he’d ever thrown and when Quasar regained consciousness, he had no recollection of his life with the T.E.C. and no reason to fight. Adopted by the J.A., his super-strength and pleasant persona were perfectly suited to super-heroics just as they had been for propaganda. He spent time with the Justice Avengers and eventually joined the Masters where he found his new home. After the Masters disbanded, he roamed the earth doing good deeds until Star tracked him down and invited him to join the new Justice Avengers.

Personality/Motivation:
The switch in personality from Quasar Alpha to Cosmic Avenger was a nearly total reversal. The evil, selfish, and arrogant Alpha became the character he portrayed to the worlds he had visited for T.E.C., a great champion, defender of the weak, good, and kind.
