Background/History:
Their father was a typical Hollywood father, determined to make his twin
daughters into stars. Starting with modeling gigs as infants and leading to them
sharing a role on the short lived early ’80s sitcom "Who’s in Charge
Anyway?", he pushed his little girls like a man possessed. Realizing the
limits of his abilities, he attempted to get the girl’s an agent, but they
just weren’t that talented and the show sucked anyway. Robert was devastated
at first, but then, he realized that they were all just jealous of his girls.
Sadly, he was quite delusional and the girls really were not that good. They
spent their teens doing grand openings and signing pictures at comic book shows.
At one such event, the promoter got a little carried away with some pyrotechnics
and caught the stage riggings and curtains on fire. The flames seemed to have
little effect on the girls and they seemed to be able to control them. With a
little experimentation and practice, they discovered that they both had the
ability to generate fireballs. So, their father was proven right, that his girls
were indeed special and they became known as the Fireball Twins. Seeking more
flexibility than the joining the Protectors for instance, Robert contacted
Stunner to help train them and they eventually joined the Hero Club which
allowed them to balance their celebrity and superhero lives.
Personality/Motivations:
The lack of a normal childhood and their father having made most of the
decisions for them had left the twins unfocused and rather unfulfilled. The
advent of their powers gave them a direction and they ran with it.
