Background/History:
Billy's family was quite religious, his father was a preacher, his grandfather was a preacher, his mother was the daughter of a preacher. His fate seemed laid out before him. He was a strong child, very athletic, and personable, as well. As he grew older, he grew stronger and stronger and even stronger. When he reached maturity, he was clearly superhuman. His family called it a blessing from God, the world called him a mutant. He had to split his time between seminary training and learning to control his abilities, eventually building himself quite a heroic reputation as Plainsman. He joined with the founding Protectors to increase his potential for doing good beyond his beloved Texas and to further his mission to spread the Word of God. He was a founding member of Protectors West, later the Freedom Brigade, and once the team became established he returned to the Protectors, once more splitting his time between super-heroics and
traveling the country spreading his faith.
Personality/Motivation:
Billy is a textbook God-fearing good ole boy with a cheerful, positive attitude. He takes his religious beliefs and his dedication to stop evil very seriously.
