Welcome to our pet adoption page!  We decided to help spread the word
about the treatment of our fellow four-legged friends.

Just like Cookie, many dogs are raised in what are known as "puppy mills"
and are used solely to breed for profit.  These breeding dogs live in such
horrible conditions that even if rescued, it still takes years for them to
recover.  They are forced to live in boxes or cages filled with their own waste
in shelters that are often falling apart and are underfed and unloved.  Many
of these animals become diseased, but their owners ignore it and they receive
no treatment or medical attention.  They are left to suffer.  Though Cookie
is much better now, she still suffers from the tragedies she was forced to
endure for so long.

More fortunate animals wind up in animal shelters, where hopefully they
can find loving owners to adopt them and give them a second chance.  Most
of these animal shelters are very good to the animals that are brought there,
but unfortunately if they can not find a new owner soon enough, their time
runs out and they are humanely sent to the rainbow bridge.  They say this
has to be done to make room for more poor animals without a home.

So what we are trying to do, with our mommy's help, is spread the word
about this mistreatment of animals and remind people that there are
thousands of animals available in shelters that need a home!  We hope
that by offering animals for adoption this way, everyone will be reminded
that adoption is the best option!

Here's How it Works:

We have several pictures of dogs that need new homes for
you to choose from.  Please email us with your name,
the URL of the page your pet will call his new home,
your first choice of an adoptee and your second choice
in case your first choice has already been adopted.  We will be
processing applications first come, first serve, so please let us
know who you would like to adopt as soon as possible.
Please be sure to include all this information so that we can
process your adoption quickly and get these dogs a new home!
After you have chosen your new pet and the application
has been processed, that pet will be removed from the list of
pets available for adoption.  He or she will be yours exclusively!
You will receive his or her photo along with your adoption certificate.

Now in order for this to work, you must have a web page
to display your new pet on.  Only in doing so, can we help to spread
the message of adoption!  So please, do not apply if you do not have
a page or do not intend to display your new pet.  You must be able
to receive attachments through your email or pick up your new
pet on a pick up page we will create for you.

Please take the time to submit your application
and help promote animal adoption!
If we don't, who will?
