The
most fun I had during my cheeringleading years was doing baskets!! In fact, I did a few in National Competition that were later sadly declared illegal for anyone else to attempt, because they thought most cheerleaders do not have the extensive gymnastics training that i did. So nevermore will anyone see a full twisting double back basket, or a triple twisting layout because those were last performed by me! |

These are the Wynne sisters (2 of the 4). Maureen was my best friend when I was training in Gymnastics in Gainesville. She is the one in the middle. As you can see, her little sister Amy came to FSU and was cheering here then as a freshman JV Cheerleader, while Moe was cheering for Clemson that day, too. They made the Gainesville papers! FSU beat Clemson badly, but a good time was had by all at our combination tailgate party afterward. | ||
Cheer
camps were a great way to spend my summers as staff...this is one of those times at FSU when NCA staffing members of our squad were having great fun while teaching a bunch of Middle and HS cheerleaders... and it was so much fun to dress alike! Oh, and live in the DORMs! Seriously though, we got to travel all over & did have some terrific times. This was the year I won the "Top 25 NCA Instructor" award. |
