Post Experience Survey:
In most cases you would prefer any
secondary participants have little or no experience with the paranormal.. Also the
degree of paranormal experiences that are not validated carry more weight as
paranoid experiences rather than paranormal. In either case you can use this
question or similiar to deduce the level of bias a person may subjectively add to their
testimoney. Assign less weight to the testimoney of participants who have had an
uncommon high share of unvalidated/uncoroorborated encounters with the supernatural.
Assign more weight to the testimioney of more educated participants, who have had
little or no encounters. Almost all participants will claim to have some experience
with the supernatural at some point in some fashion. It is wise to apply caution
when participants tell of dying/dead relatives and death related encounters, as opposed to
being paranoid these experiences may be rooted in grief.
Use
this basic outline to gather information from persons who claim to have had an encounter
or brush with a ghost. (Feel free to copy and paste this and use at will)

Survey Question:
In africa there has existed a tribe called the Dogon for many
centuries. Their tribal folklore includes numerous references to a 'dark star' or
twin sun orbiting the star Sirrus. While the dark twin is not visable to the naked
eye they have held this unshakable belief for hundreds of years. When asked to
explain how they came to know this information they claim that visitors from another
planet made them privy to this fact. It wasnt until the early 70's that amateur
astronomers confirmed that indeed the star Sirrus did have a dark orbiting twin. Now
in your opinion what is the most likely way that the Dogon found out about this.
