Welcome to my travel site. I am starting this site not only to share photographs with my friends but also to share my explorations
with all those who are interested in unique or beautiful places on this planet.
Ever since I was a child I fancied myself an explorer. I loved going to interesting places or discovering something interesting
in the usual places. I dreamt that when I grew up I'd visit places like Mongolia, Japan or Arabia. Money, time, and physical
limitations have kept me from realizing that dream. However, I soon discovered that one can take exciting journeys close to
home.
Thus I see myself on a quest to satisfy my hunger for exploration on a smaller scale. Hence, I am the Questress and these
are my Journeys. Thanks for coming along.

sadness into moving works of art.
______________________________________________________
We take many different journeys in our lives. Some, like my cruise, are happy and rejuvenating. Others, like the grieving
process, are a journey of pain and torment. On Sept 11 I lost an important part of NYC when the towers were destroyed. I lost
memories and a space that gave me joy and delight to frequent. Even though loss of life far surpasses the loss of buildings,
I realized after talking to other New Yorkers, that one can also grieve for buildings. This is what prompted me to focus the
next journey of the Questress on the journey through terror and loss. I start the journey with some unique photos I took of
the WTC before it was destroyed. The journey continues through the long days and months afterward. It is a collection of my
poems and essays and photographs that reflect the pain and sorrow in my heart. It isn't completed, the journey will continue
for quite some time. I invite you to join me on my journey through terror and loss.....
