One dictionary gives the definition of fan as an "enthusiastic admirer or supporter". Certainly, FY fans have proven themselves to be extremely enthusiastic...after all, look at what some of us are doing here with the fanzine.

In this day and age, anyone with a computer and access to the Internet makes it extremely easy for one to find other fans sharing the same love for FY. After all, for something like FY which is not as widely accessible as say, Star Wars, in any country other than Japan, what are the chances that someone you know in Real Life also shares your fanatical interest in FY?

And that's the purpose of next month's theme, for what do we like more than to share our love for FY with other fans? From fan fiction, fan art, web pages, and perhaps most of all, mailing lists, all of these are things we've created or taken part in for the purpose of sharing our fandom. So, why not share with us your experience in writing fan fiction, drawing fan art, and/or making web pages?

What about from a personal point of view?

Do you share your love for FY amidst a small group of online friends, or are you part of a larger online community? Perhaps both? Does fandom extend into real life as well, with friends and fellow FY lovers, attending conventions, etc.
