Tyrebagger Hill

 

How to get there: A96 Aberdeen to Inverurie road.  At the Marshal Works (a little after the roundabout to Aberdeen Airport) turn right and follow the road for 0.5 miles.  At a sharp right bend carry straight on a rough track road.   There is a factory and warehouse units on the right hand side.  Follow the road for half a mile and take the  right fork in the track.  Pass an industrial unit on the right and 2 houses on the left, and follow the track for another half a mile, pass the turning to the right which leads to a farmhouse but take the next left off the main track.  The road ends about 100 metres with a gated entrance to a small field.   The circle is ahead amongst a few treas and a radio mast.

Description: Of the 11 stones, only one has fallen.   The circle stones are very narrow and contrast strikingly with the massive recumbent.
