It is unfortunate in many ways that Brother Branham is remembered, by many ministers outside of the message, only for his doctrine of Serpent Seed. The teaching on the Serpent Seed was not the main focus of Brother Branham's ministry as defined in the scripture. It was the calling out of the Bride from the denominational churches, "Come Out of Her my people."

The teaching of the Serpent Seed was one of the Mysteries that was to be revealed in the last days.

Rev 10: 7 "But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished as hath declared to his servants the prophets."

The Bible declares that there are things hidden in the scripture. Did you know that? Come and See.

Matthew 10: 25-26 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

There is nothing Hid Jesus declared that shall not be made known.

Matthew 13: 10-14 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive.

The prophet Isaiah declared that the day would come when the religious believers, and scholars, would hear the Truth but not be able to hear it, and seeing the Truth laid out, they could not receive it. Jesus said, "to them it is not given" to know the Mysteries. But to you, the Bride, the Believer, it is given.

Matthew 11: 24-26 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee. At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Amos 3:7 declares, "Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." The Word of the Lord always first revealed to a prophet.

An unbeliever plugs his ears, hits the back button and refuses to hear. The Bible says so, "he that answers a matter before he hears it, it is a shame and a folly unto him" (Proverbs 18:13). A believer, on the other hand wants to know if it's the truth. "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so" (Acts 17:11).

Brother Branham often said the Bible does not need any interpretation. God is his own interpreter. The Bible will interpret itself.

Genesis 3: 14-15

"And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:"

"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."

Now the scripture declares that the Serpent had a Seed. Speaking to the Serpent, God said "I will put enmity between thee and the women, and between THY SEED and her seed." That's what the Bible says. The Serpent had a seed.

All Bible scholars recognize that the last part of Genesis 3:15 is a prophecy of the coming of the literal seed of the women, the Messiah, the savior Jesus Christ. The first part must also be a literal seed. One cannot separate the scripture. If the Serpent did not have a seed, then Christ was not born. But God said the Serpent had a Seed, and he would put enmity between those two seeds.

Notice the Word "Seed" in Genesis 3:15. It is the Hebrew word, "Zera", number 2233 in Strong?s Concordance Hebrew and Chaldee dictionary. It comes from the word 2232 "Zara", which means, "to bear, and conceive seed." Zera means, "seed", and carnally means "child," or "offspring."

The very next place this same word "seed" (2233) is used in scripture is in Genesis 4:25

"And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew."

The same word (2233) is used in Numbers 5:28 "And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed."

A study note in the Keys Greek-Hebrew Study Bible, in the Lexical Aids to the Old Testament (pg. 1610), notes that the word used here also means "semen."

The same word (2233) again in Leviticus 15:16 "And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even."

God was talking to the serpent in Genesis 3:14-15 and said he would put enmity between THY SEED and the women's seed. Again it is clear that the serpent had a seed.

Most Christians, in trying to understand, Genesis 3:15, can only see that "her seed" prophetically refers to the "seed of the woman" -- Jesus Christ born of the Virgin Mary, and that Christ would crush and defeat Satan who would "bruise his heel"on Calvary. They fail to see or choose to disregard the first part of this dual prophecy. God had put enmity between the Serpent and Eve, and also his seed and her seed -- " the seed of the Serpent" -- Serpent's Seed. The Serpent had a seed!  The seed of the women came into literal manifestation in Christ. But the scripture also says "THY seed" -- So too then did the Serpent's seed, come into literal manifestation in Cain. And there was enmity, between those two seeds.

They Knew That They Were Naked

What really happened in the Garden of Eden? They ate apples? Nowhere does the Bible say that. Notice Genesis 3: 7

"And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons."

Whatever it was that they had done made them realize they were naked. They went and sewn fig leaves together to cover up the parts that had sinned. They didn't cover up their mouths, or their tummy's (from eating apples), No, they hid their nakedness. They had obtained carnal knowledge. Because their eyes were opened to their guilt, and they realized that they were naked, so they tried to cover their sexual parts! They were ashamed!

God's question to Adam, "who said you were naked?" proves that Adam was covering up a guilty act committed by his sexual organ. (Read Matthew 5:29-30.) If it was the mouth, Adam would have covered it, and perhaps God would have questioned him thus: "Who asked thee to cover thy mouth? Did thou eat the forbidden fruit?"

The word "naked" used in Genesis 2:25 is different from that found in Genesis 3:7-11. The latter is translated from the Hebrew word 5903 "eyrom", which comes from the root word 6191 "aram", is used to indicate a derogatory sense.

Law of Judgment

God has a law of judgment, and that law is that the punishment must fit the crime.

"Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them... "life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe." Exodus 21:1, 23-25)

So we see that God demands the punishment fit the crime that was committed. This is the Law of Judgment, which is justice.

Now notice where the responsibility for the Fall lies according to the scripture:

"And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." (1 Timothy 2:14)

What punishment did God put upon Eve?

"Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception ; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."

Notice 2 things:

1. He cursed her reproduction. From now on God says in sorrow will you bring forth children.
2. He said there was something wrong with her desire, and from hence forth your desire shall be to your husband! This demonstrates the fact that Eve must have earlier subjected her desire to someone else.

She had an improper desire, which caused her to fall into a sinful act. "What is this that thou hast done?"

Genesis 3: 13 "The serpent beguiled me" Eve replied.

The word "beguiled" in the KJV is number 5377 in your Strong's Concordance Hebrew and Chaldee dictionary, it means, "to seduce", and to "utterly and completely deceive." Both are true, he seduced her, and completely and utterly deceived her in doing so.

Paul, in his teaching concerning the "virginity" of the Church, made mention of the seduction of Eve by the Serpent when he said, in 2 Corinthians 11:2-3:

"For I am jealous over you with godly jealously: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled (Greek: exapatao [not apatao]; that is, strictly seduced) Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."

God did not curse Adam. God cursed the ground because Adam joined with her in sin. God cursed the ground and not his reproductive organ because he was not deceived, Eve was (1 Timothy 2:14). But Adam listened to her and joined her in Sin. Adam knew what he was doing when he hearkened to the voice of his wife. Being taken from his side, she was a part of him. He knew she would be lost because of her sin. Therefore, in order to redeem her, he must identify himself with her sin. So, Adam knowingly joined Eve in her sin. Just as Jesus, the second Adam, redeemed his Bride to himself. This act of Adam and Eve then brought death upon all.

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, WHO IS THE FIGURE OF HIM THAT WAS TO COME." (Romans 5:12-14)

Adam is the figure of him that was to come the Bible says in Romans 5. How is that so? Because Adam redeemed his wife back to himself by identifying himself with her transgression. Remember, Adam had no former lust and knew no sin. Similarly, Jesus Christ, the last Adam, identified Himself with His fallen Bride and became sin for her that she might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). In identifying Himself with fallen man, the redemptive act of the second Adam, Jesus Christ brought LIFE back to man. With the Water and the Blood that flowed from the side of Jesus Christ at Calvary, God made a Bride for Him. Amen! We are reconciled to the Living Tree of Life, not a fruit tree but the Living God!

The Serpent's Seed   Jeffersonville, IN 58-0928E "You know eating an apple, that wasn't what they did, made them realize they were naked. Certainly, it wasn't. It had to come through sexually. It had to be, 'cause they realized they were naked when they taken this forbidden fruit. Ain't a woman a fruit tree? Aren't you the fruit of your mother? That was the fruit that was forbidden to be taken."

Two Trees

What is a tree?

A tree always types men in scripture. The Bible says to let every word be established in the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses, and we can produce more than 3 to show this type in scripture. According to the law of interpretation the Old Testament type must have a New Testament fulfillment to be classified as a true scriptural type. Notice Luke 6:43 "For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit."

The scripture indicates that men are typed as trees. Let's review a few examples.

Psalm 1:1, 3 "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."

Numbers 24: 5-6 "How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel! As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters."

Isaiah 56: 3 "Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree."

Hosea 14:8 "Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found."

Psalm 37: 35 "I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree."

So we have a number of scriptures represented here to show that men, people are typed as trees in scripture. Notice a few things from these trees. A "blessed man" is a tree (Psalm 1). A "wicked man" is a tree (Psalm 37:35). A eunuch is told not to call himself a dry tree because he cannot bear fruit. Israel is compared to a tree (Numbers 24), in other places Israel is compared to a Fig tree ex: Matthew 24:31-33. Many other places trees represent people and kingdoms, see for example Judges chapter 9.

The word "Tree" number 6086 in Strong's Hebrew dictionary. It means, "wood", "timber", "staff", but it also means "carpenter", and "gallows". (Look it up in Strong's!) Now with a spiritual mind, who was the carpenter?

Mark 6:3 "Isn't this the carpenter? Isn't this Mary's son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us?" And they took offense at him."

Gallows are where people are hanged. Now who went and hung himself?

Matthew 27: 3-5 "Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself."

Notice John 6: 70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Now the scripture declares again in Luke 22:3 "Satan entered into Judas Iscariot." This is a perfect type of Satan entering into the Serpent/Beast in the garden of Eden. Satan entered into him, just as he did Judas, which was Gallows for "one of you is a devil."

The Serpent called a Beast, in Genesis 3:1 was not a reptile. He was changed as part of his punishment to crawl on his belly like a snake. God took his hips right off him, and changed him. He was an upright creature and was somewhat between a chimpanzee, and a man, but closer to a man. He was so close to being human that his seed could and did mingle with that of the women and cause her to conceive. When this happened, God cursed the serpent. He changed every bone in his body so that he had to crawl like a snake. Science understands there is a relationship between man and animal, and tries to prove it by evolution. There is no evolution, but Science will never be able to find that close association genetically, called the missing link, because God changed the very form of him. (See Church Age Book pgs. 98, 99)

The seed of the Serpent could fertilize the egg of the woman. This seems very far-fetched to most people. But just look at what man has done with some of the animals. They have produced a liger, a cross between a lion and a tiger; a zebronkey, a hybrid between a zebra and a horse. The most common hybrid that we know is the mule, which is a mixture of the donkey and a horse.

Scientists have tried to commingle beast and man because the closeness of their chemical affinity between them proves their close relationship, but without success. Beast and man cannot intermingle and reproduce. However, the intermingling between an animal (Serpent/Beast) and a woman (Eve) did take place in the Garden of Eden. God completely destroyed that pattern and will no longer allow the interbreeding of unlike species. All the crossbreeds named above are sterile and cannot reproduce.

We know there were literal trees in the garden. But there were also 2 trees that were different than all the rest. One was the "Tree of Life" and the other was the "Tree of the knowledge of both Good and Evil." Now there are only 2 powers in the entire world. There are only 2 powers, and there are only 2 kingdoms. That is Gods Kingdom and Satan?s kingdom. Everything else is connected to one of those two kingdoms. Notice the characteristics now of these two trees.

There is no tree that one can pick the fruit of and live forever. Jesus told the women at the well,

"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw." (John 4: 14,15)

The Samaritan woman didn't get it. Jesus wasn't talking about literal water that one could drink and live-forever, it was the spiritual water representing in type the Holy Ghost. Neither is there a literal fruit that one can eat from and live forever, but the Tree of Life, which is Jesus Christ in type. He is the one lifted on the tree.

"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up" (John 3:14)

When the children of Israel came to a place of bitter waters, the scripture declares, Exodus 15: 25 "And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD showed him a tree." That is a perfect type of Jesus Christ as the tree of life.

One tree was a source of Eternal Life. And there is only one source of eternal life and that is Christ Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life. There is no literal tree one can eat the fruit of and live forever. Only God gives eternal life.

The other tree that was different from all the rest was the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil." Only one person had the knowledge of both good and evil, and that was Satan, who had been cast down from Heaven and was in the garden.

Bible scholars know that Ezekiel 28 is a prophecy concerning Satan. Ezekiel 28: 2 says, "Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God." and verse 13 "Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God." There was a man in the garden of Eden besides Adam! The Bible declares it to be so.

More Hidden Meanings

Notice the expressions used here in Genesis. These "figures of speech" are used to draw attention to the particular truth that God has Hidden in his word, while also revealing it at the same time. The meaning of the Hebrew words, the types and shadows, and their New Testament fulfillments reveal the truth of what happened. Scripture interpreting itself.

"and I did eat" of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil. The word "eat" number 398 in Strong's Hebrew dictionary means, literally or figuratively, "to burn up, consume, to lay, to lay with meat." That is just how it reads in Strong's.

Now do we have a New Testament type here? Absolutely, to burn with lust, to be consumed with lust. 1 Corinthians 7:9 "But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn." It is better to marry than to burn with lust. Is it any wonder that Satan would use sexual sin to tempt man?

"Neither shall you touch it, lest you die."

The Word "touch" here is number 5060 in Strong's Hebrew dictionary; it means to "lay a hand on" and also the same word means "to lie with a women." Look it up in Strong?s and see the truth!

The word implies a sexual implication. Notice the same word 5060 for ?touch? in Proverbs 6:29

"So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent."

Eat of the "fruit" of the tree. The word for "fruit" is number 6259 in Strong?s, means literally or figuratively "to bear fruit." Figuratively like the Eunuch, who could not bear fruit. Also one of the commandments that God gave Adam was to "Be Fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth." They had no knowledge of carnality prior to the fall, they were veiled by the Holy Spirit of God. Adam could look right at his wife and not know she was naked. But Satan in the form of the Beast man got there first, injected his seed into mankind. The serpent seed.

Notice Song of Solomon: "I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters. As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste." (SoS 2: 1-3).

The Bible describes body parts, and love making as "fruit". Song of Solomon Chapter 7 is a perfect example:

"How beautiful are thy feet with shoes, O prince's daughter! the joints of thy thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman. Thy navel is like a round goblet, which wanteth not liquor: thy belly is like an heap of wheat set about with lilies. Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins. Thy neck is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim: thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus. Thine head upon thee is like Carmel, and the hair of thine head like purple; the king is held in the galleries. How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights! This thy stature is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts to clusters of grapes. I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples; And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goeth down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak. I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me. Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages. Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves. The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved."

The fruit spoken of in Genesis is an allegory of the fruit spoken of here in Song of Solomon. Read that carefully, the whole chapter relates "fruits" to body parts and love making between a man and his wife. Yet also this chapter is spiritual as the headers in many study Bibles show this scripture in Solomon as a type of Christ and his Bride.

As part of her punishment God told Eve from now on your "desire" shall be to your husband. She had an improper desire. The word desire is number 8669 in Strong's Hebrew dictionary and it means "a longing." She had a improper desire, a longing for another man. "A tree to be desired", a tree is a man, and there was another man in the Garden. From now on your desire, your longing shall be to your husband!

Notice the terminology used in Genesis that we have just covered in review. Seed="seed of copulation", semen, and offspring, Beguiled="seduced", tree="man", "carpenter", and "gallows" touch="to lie with a women", fruit="to bear fruit", desire="longing" and I did eat="to burn with lust". And what did it do? It made them realize they were naked in the deragatory sense of the word. Then they went and hid their private parts.

Of that Wicked one

The Bible says that the Serpent had a seed. If the seed of the women came into literal manifestation in Christ then the seed of the serpent came into literal mainifestation also in Cain!

Eve was seduced by the Beast man and had a sexual affair with him causing the fall of man into sin. She was impregnated by him and the result was Cain.

1 John 3:12 "Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous."

The law of God states that every living seed shall bring forth after its own kind (Genesis 1:11,12,21,24,25 cf. 1:26). Now if Cain was Adam's son, and Adam is called a "son of God" then where did Cain inherit his evil traits? 1 John 3:12 says he was "of that wicked one and wherefore slew his brother."

If Cain was a son of Adam, who was a son of God, why did he kill Abel since the characteristic traits of God are righteous? What about Cain's lie: "I know not..."? (Genesis 4:9). Where did it come from? John 8:44 has the answer: the Devil is the father of lies.

The birthright belongs to the firstborn alone (Genesis 43:33; 48:8-19). Why was Cain, who was the firstborn (Genesis 4:1), not mentioned in the book of the generations of Adam (Genesis 5) and in the genealogy of Jesus Christ (Luke 3:23-38)? (Notice: Esau, who was the firstborn of Isaac, was not mentioned in the genealogy Jesus Christ because he sold his birthright to Jacob -- Genesis 25:29-34. Abel was not listed because he was murdered (that stopped the lineage), and Seth was the substitute to bring about the descendants of Adam.

Jude 14 states that "Enoch the seventh from Adam." If Cain was of Adam, Enoch could not have been the seventh; he should be the eighth counting from Adam. However, nowhere in the Bible is Cain referred to as a son of Adam. Eve is called the "Mother of all living", but nowhere is Adam called the Father of all living.

God in his covenant with Abraham had all men clip the end of their foreskin, because it was sex blood that caused the fall.

All the above points conclusively proved that not only was the commandment of God broken, but that blood was also involved in the Fall through sexual fornication which resulted in the birth of the seed of the Serpent -- Cain.

Twins

Notice Genesis 4:1-2a "And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord, And she again bare his brother Abel."

Genesis 4:1 is not a contradiction at all. All life, good or evil, comes from God (Isaiah 45:7; Acts 17:28). Even if it was Osama Bin Laden and a Prostitute having a baby, that life came from God. And Eve could not be more right when she said: "I have gotten a man from the Lord."

A deeper study of the chapter gives us a better light to the verse. The word "knew" in Genesis 4 verses 1 and 25 means having a positive knowledge of conception. Adam "knew" Eve only twice, but brought forth three sons. The scripture is very accurate here. It doesn?t say he knew her again in verses 1 and 2, it says she again bare, showing that Cain and Abel were twins. Only 2 acts of carnal knowledge are recorded, but 3 sons are born. The 3rd Son was Seth when Adam knew his wife in the second recorded act (verse 25). Cain and Abel were in fact twins born from separate acts of insemination. See? "Adam knew his wife (he joined her to himself) and she bare Cain and she again bare Abel. Cain and Abel were twins.

The medical term is called "Heteropaternal Superfecundation". Superfecundation is defined as: "the insemination of two or more ova, resulting from coitus with different partners and giving rise to litter-mates or siblings with different fathers." Together it means "Fraternal Twins with Different Fathers."

Here are some real life cases proven through DNA in our day:

1. In Brooklyn NY, the husband of a woman who had non-identical, different sex twins accused another man (alleged father) of being the father of the twins. The alleged father denied the accusation and refused responsiblity for the children. The alleged father was homozygous for a rare chromosomal polymorphism on chromosome 18 (Alu1 resistant chromatin) and was homozygous for blood type "s" (ss genotype). The male twin was heterozygous for the chromosomal polymorphism on chromosome 18 whereas the female twin was homozygous for blood type "S" (SS genotype). Thus, the alleged father could have produced the male twin but could not have produced the female twin. The husband refused to be tested. -Lancet 239:63, 1992

An Enemy Hath Done This

One objection given against serpent seed is this verse: "and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat." Adam was "with her" so she couldn?t have had sex with the beast man.

The scripture gives a very good answer in Matthew 13: 24-28

"Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this."

The kingdom of heaven was like a man who planted wheat in his field, and then the enemy (serpent) came along and planted tares (weeds) among the wheat. When did it happen? "when men slept". The word "men" here in the Greek is number 444 in Strong's Greek dictionary, which comes from 435 which means "a certain man".

While a certain man slept the enemy hath done this! Adam was asleep when the Serpent beguiled Eve!

Sons of God married Daughters of Men

"There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."-- Genesis 6:4

An interesting note in Nelson's Spirit Filled Life Bible to Genesis 6:1-2 says, "sons of God may mean the godly line of Seth as opposed to Cain's godless descendents. It goes on to say that "God abhors the interbreeding of unlike species."

A note in Zondervan?s Full Life Study Bible to Genesis 6:2 agrees strongly with this view, "The sons of God most likely refer to men of the godly line of Seth; they began to intermarry with the "daughters of men," i.e. women from the ungodly line of Cain. The theory that the sons of God were angels is less likely in view of Jesus words that Angels do not marry (Matthew 22:30, Mark 12:25)".

Anyone with simple Bible understanding should know that the "sons of God" were not Angels who married people. To do this not only goes against what Jesus taught about Angels as the previous note pointed out, but would also make Satan a creator. For Angels to press themselves into the dust of the Earth and create bodies to have physical relations with mankind would make Satan a creator and equal with God. Satan is not equal with God and neither is he a creator. Clearly the sons of God were the righteous lineage of Seth who married the daughters of Cain.

As the population of the two peoples increased, the sons of God, were so tempted by the seductive beauty of the daughters of men (Cainic women) that they took these women for wives.

Because of the genetic degredation resulting from this intermingling between the fallen sons of God and the daughters of Cain, Giant offspring were born. Thus were they called "mighty men", and "men of renown". They had the nature of Cain, They were desperately wicked and corrupted, "every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually" (Genesis 6:5)., and "the earth is filled with violence through them" (Genesis 6:13). And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, was raised up to prophesy against their ungodliness. It should be noted there were actual Giants among them, for one day those genes passed down to a man named Goliath, whose stature was so great an entire army was afraid to face him.

God destroyed the Earth by Flood. All people on Earth are now direct descendents of Noah's sons through Ham, Shem, and Japheth. The genetic degredation of humanity was complete. All men are now a mixture of those seeds. Today we must receive the spiritual seed of God through Jesus Christ to once again be called a "son of God."

1 Peter 1:23 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed (serpent seed), but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever."

1 John 3:9 "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed (God's seed) remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."

Romans 8:13-14 "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
