In order to be accepted to the Yemen Modern School, potential students must take admission examinations in three subjects: Arabic Language, English Language and Mathematics.  Upon successful results in these exams, students will be offered a seat in the desired class if spaces permit.  If there is no room in the desired class, students who pass the admissions exams will be placed on the waiting list for the first available opening. 

Registration Procedure: 

1. Potential new students should contact the admissions secretary during the May or June prior to the requested admission.  The admissions secretary will then specify the dates of the admissions exams, usually held in mid-June and late August.
2. Potential students attend the admissions exams at the school on the dates indicated.  At the same time, potential students should complete the entire application form, and pay the fee for the admissions exams (YR 300).  If a student is accepted into the school, the admissions exams fees will be deducted from the school fees. 
3. Once the admissions exams have been corrected, potential students will be contacted by telephone to inform them of the schools decision.
4. If a student has been accepted, he or she must come to the school admissions office, open a student file by submitting all official documents, and pay the first installment of fees within one week, or his or her seat may be lost to another student.
