Ok, I've thought a lot about this and this is what I arrived at:

Most of the material about Al-Azraq out there is in, surprise surprise... ARABIC! While I have the ability to view Arabic pages I can't assume everyone else does. So, I'm forced to use images to display the Arabic material... for now. Obviously, using images instead of simple Arabic text takes longer to download and uses up a heck of a lot more space, but I'll keep doing it as long as I have enough space to store the images... or until every Al-Azraq fan in the world can display Arabic text on their computers! ;)

However, on occasions, I WILL be tempted to put Arabic material up using Arabic text, for example if the material is just too long to be edited and scanned! I know some of you won't be able to view it, but I'll try my best to avoid that. Then again, it's not as difficult to enable your computer to browse arabic pages as once it was! You just have to work at it a little.

Also, what I'll be putting here is mostly material I  find either elsewhere on the web (Like Al-Watan newspaper site) or in print magazines/newspapers. I'll be doing this as a convenience to Al-Azraq fans everywhere. I'll do my best to note the source of the material when possible.

I'm also planning on providing original and exclusive material. For example, photographs that I or someone I know takes. But, don't hold your breath... for too long.

If you have material that you think is worth putting up on the web and you don't have the means to do so yourself, please contact me and I'll see what I can do. I have contacts in Kuwait and the U.S. who will be able to receive the material and digitize it. If you can digitize the material yourself, please do so and send it to me at azraqring@aol.com. I only have one condition, if it is material that you didn't make yourself, you have to mention the source if available. For example, if you find a good article in a magazine, note the magazine name, issue, page number, etc... This will help others who want to look the material up themselves.

Please note that I reserve the right to decide what goes and what doesn't. So, before you go through the trouble, you might want to check with me first.

Pheww... That was long! Now, the desert .... :)
