No
matter where our lives may take us
there
are a few things you should know.
Some
truths I need to share with you
of
how you’ve helped me grow.
The
strength I’ve found from deep inside,
the
good I’ve discovered in me,
has
largely come from the time you took
in
guiding me to see.
I
like myself and my heart.
That’s
something new I’ve found.
And
I’ll carry that with me as I go
no
matter where I’m bound.
So
thank you for the times you’ve share
and
that part of yourself you gave.
You’re
woven in my heart and life.
A
thread I’ll gladly save.
And
tho things change, they stay the same,
this
caring does not depart.
Friends
still here in thought and spirit
and
never far apart.
