Can you hear me in
the silence?
Do you feel me reaching
out for you?
Is it truly you I hear, yearning yet not
trusting to touch again
my heart?
Do you feel my spirit
there beside you?
Speaking softly to
your soul?
Is that soft sigh you
sound
a longing to come closer?
The gentle brush of
a breeze
against your cheek
is me saying hello.
Telling you I haven't
forgotten.
I'm still here.
I still care.
Do you hear me?
Do you feel me?
