Anthony Starke was born on 6 June 1963 in Syracuse, New York, and raised in San Francisco until his family moved to northern Illinois when he was 10. He entered Marquette University intending to become a lawyer but, after winning a theatre scholarship, graduated with Bachelor’s degrees in both Theatre Arts and Spanish instead. Anthony won his first role in the 1985 television movie "First Steps", playing a quadriplegic patient. Other television credits include "Suddenly Susan", "The George Carlin Show" and the television movie "Heat Wave". Anthony has also appeared in a number of films, beginning with "Nothing in Common" in 1986 and followed by films such as "Return of the Killer Tomatoes", "18 Again", and the James Bond film "License to Kill". He also co-wrote and starred in the short film "Blood Chemistry". Anthony currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and son. He enjoys martial arts (black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do) and boxing, and is also a published author and poet with his first novel "A Coal to His Lips" available online.
