"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
Matthew 7:13 & 14
Welcome to the homepage of Shawn I. Craigmiles.
This goals of this site are to give glory to God, to spread the gospel and to edify the saints.
I am an ordained minister of the gospel. I have recently left a pastorate at a church that voted to close its doors. I am currently seeking the will of God and praying that He will open the doors of another pastorate. In the meantime, my wife and I are members of New Testament Missionary Baptist Church in Pekin, Illinois. Pastor Roger Hamilton is our Pastor and we are grateful to serve the Lord under him.

The most important step that any man, woman, boy, or girl can make in his or her life is the step to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. This belief that the Bible speaks of is the difference between eternal life in Christ, and eternal damnation in self-willed rebellion against God and his beloved Son.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."
John 3:16-21
If you do not know for sure where you will spend eternity I urge you to click on the lighthouse below to find out how you can know that you have eternal life.
"He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."
I John 5:10-13

One of the things that you should be aware of upfront is that we are not taking a poll or a straw count to find out what our faith and practice should be. We are, however, looking to God for his guidance from two very reliable sources. The first is the infallible, inspired, eternal Word of God, the Bible. The second is the Holy Spirit of God which indwells all believers. We study and preach from the King James Version of the Bible exclusively, and we trust what we read there as the Holy Spirit of God gives us understanding.
"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass.
The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you."
I Peter 1:18-25
