Dig: 72

A better start than most bands, and the first thing that a listener notices about this Canadian band is their ability to weave a song with their guitars. Although it seems like he can’t sing at all, it is tolerable after a while. It’s a certain style that makes it interesting. A good debut for I Mother Earth.

Scenery and Fish: 83

An innovative c.d. with many fresh ideas and substantially better singing. The vocals are much clearer and meaningful combined with their excellent guitar work makes this c.d. a treat. The first 9 songs are each distinctively different and their ideas make it interesting. After these you need to have a tolerance for them, but good nevertheless. A great rock experience.
