Debbie attended the Kitty Boots Fall/Winter 2001 fashion show at 111
West 42nd Street yesterday.
She looked so good. Very sleak and sharp and chic. She wore really
nice designer sunglasses and what looked like a black feather boa. Her
hair was long and styled perfectly. Her face looked really defined.
I don't really know anything else.
Jon Erkider, NYC
Jon,
Do you know if she was a blonde OR a brunette at the fashion show???????
thanks.

Here are the Spanish lyrics for "Keep On Going". She just sings the chorus
in Spanish.
Cuando estés mal sigue adelante,
(la) determinación cambiará tu suerte,
no mires alrededor, sigue adelante,
no crees que has tenido demasiado,
debes seguir adelante
y nunca abandonar.
She really needs a Spaniard to help her. Any volunteers?... Me, who else.

Talking about church.. a lady who is a social worker at my job is also a
minister heard the song " Keep on Going" from the Debravation CD which I
think is one of the most beautiful songs ever written and Debbie does a
master piece singing it. This lady was so touched by the song that she
played
I'm right with you there!! I think this song is so perfect. Whenever I'm
down on my luck, I'll start singing this song at the top of my lungs and I
ALWAYS get a renewed effect from it. Perfect, perfect perfect!!

Subject: [dhbis] Another Debbie Photo in New York Magazine
In the current issue of NY Magazine (the Best of New York cover),
there is a shot of Debbie with two other women, one of whom is Jewel,
at some function I can't remember (currently at work now). Debbie
looks INCREDIBLE, especially since this is a paparazzi (spelling?)
shot with a flashbulb, not some studio shot. She is dressed in black
with a side part and just appears stunning and much younger than
should be legal......

Subject: ANDY WARHOL BIOGRAPHY
Seasons Greetings all Blondies
Stumbled across (channel hopping) a biography about Andy Warhol on SKY TV Biography channel the other day. Really interesting - I've read the books but never seen any TV footage before. It features two (very) short interviews with Debbie. When asked about Andy's death, Debbie said that she was in mourning for about a year after 'cause she was so upset. There is also a short segment showing Debbie having her portrait done by Andy - same as the picture that is featured at the end of the Sweet and Low video and is also featured in the 2001 Andy Warhol Divas calendar.
If I find out that it's going to be repeated again (which I'm sure it will be, as are most things on SKY) then I'll let you know.
Happy Holidays and have a truly wicked one!
Here's looking forward to some new Blondie songs next year!!
Cheers
Andy
