The Rose That
Grew from Concrete
Poems from Tupac written
in those days before he was famous. This collection shows the true feelings
of this 19-year-old Young Black Male. These poems hit close to home for
anybody growing up in similar conditions as Pac. Some consider this his
finest work. This book shows the softer side of this immortal thug, which
I find more interesting than what the media portrays him as. This book
includes two sets of each poem, one in print and one in Tupac's actual
handwriting! This is a great piece of work, and the only poetry I've ever
liked reading. |

Got Your Back
: My Life in Tupac's Last Year
Bodyguard Frank Alexander
accounts for his role in the last year of Tupac's life. This book has been
dissed, but, you get more inside info than virtually all of the other post
death books, videos etc. As the reader, you are brought face to face with
what it's like to kick it with Pac on a daily basis. Like many, I believe
this book was written to deflect finger pointing over Tupac's murder. What
could he have done? Nobody can stop bullets. If you love Pac you'll love
reading this even over all the bad grammar and spelling. |

The Killing of
Tupac Shakur
At first glance, I thought
this reporter was just trying to make money off of Tupac's death. After
I got my copy (for only $5.00), I realized she wanted to clear up all the
rumors and false information surrounding his death. If you want to figure
out for yourself whether he's ALIVE or NOT this is the book to get. She
chronicles not only Tupac's life and tragic murder, but other inside info,
and Biggie's murder. This book has all the name, time, dates, the infamous
autopsy photo, and a copy of the autopsy report. At around five bucks,
there's no better bargain for the facts. |

Have Gun Will
Travel : The Rise and Fall of Death Row
I've abbreviated the title
for obvious reasons. You probably have heard of it already, but trust me,
once you pick this up and read past the first one or two chapters, you
WON'T put it back down. The history of Death Row is dissected tale for
tale by numerous sources, 95% of whom refuse to have their identities revealed.
You will gasp in shock from some of these stories of the infamous Row,
and laugh at others. There's not that much Pac info for interested fans,
and sometimes you'll feel Ronin Ro disses him, but he's just telling the
story on the most notorious record label in recent history. |

Tupac Amaru Shakur
(Vibe) 1971-1996
Pictures, pictures and more
pictures. Vibe puts together every Tupac article and related blurb they've
done, and yes, a lot of pictures (most of which I scanned for the site).
The pictures (can't say that enough) are great, the articles are informative
and/or controversial. My only gripe is how all the articles written after
his death, str8 diss him at times. How can they do this to somebody who
sold so many of their magazines and has done more Vibe covers than anyone
else? They must be pissed they won't make any more money off him (except
this very book). All beefs aside, buy it strictly for the, strictly for
the, strictly for the pictures! |
