We received an overwhelming response to the VIBE Q with Tupac Shakur ( "Ready to Live" by Kevin Powell, April ). Several of the people mentioned in the interview were contacted before the story was published but declined to comment at that time. After the interview appeared, they contacted VIBE, wanting to respond to what they felt were misconceptions that arose from some of Tupac's statements and descriptions.
